What is GMO?



GMO means genetically modified organism. GMO is a plant, animals or a micro-organism that
the genetic code is changes, increase or decrease ( came from same or different species) to give a new feature.

Now, the scientist transfer the gene in between the species that can not be copulate - for example, gene of the goat and gene of a cow. This process called trans genesis. The transformation is limited in the effect into person and to an animal

There are different GMO.

The transgenic animal like the rat and the fish, transgenic plant and different kind of microbe (fungi and bacteria). There are many reason creating the GMO, One of this is use of GMO to studies to answer the important question in biology and medicine.

The GMO use in production in medicine and industrial enzyme. The most well-known use of GMO is the goodness of health of people ( gene therapy ) and to agriculture ( golden rice ).
